Paysealed

Terms of Service

Last updated: October 4, 2026

These terms are an agreement between Paysealed and the company that uses it. Please read them. By creating an account, accepting an invitation or using Paysealed, you agree to them.

Most important: Paysealed adds a check before payments. It is not a bank, it never moves money, and it can’t promise to stop every fraud. Your company always makes the final decision to pay.

1. Who these terms are between

Paysealed is operated by Muzamil Awan (“Paysealed”, “we”, “us”). “Customer” or “you” means the company or organization that uses Paysealed, and the people it invites. If you accept these terms for a company, you confirm you are allowed to do so. You must be at least 18. Paysealed is for business use only.

2. What Paysealed does

Paysealed lets your team send a payment request to the right approver, who confirms or declines it on their own registered phone using a passkey. It keeps a signed record of each decision and an audit log. It can also check emails for warning signs and work inside Slack, Gmail and Outlook. We may add, change or remove features over time.

3. What Paysealed does not do

  • Paysealed is not a bank, payment processor or money transmitter. We never move, hold or see your money.
  • Paysealed doesn’t replace your own payment controls, such as calling suppliers on a number you already have.
  • Warning signs and risk levels are automatic checks. They can miss fraud, and they can flag safe emails.
  • An approval confirms that the approver used their registered phone. It doesn’t guarantee that a payment is legitimate.
  • Paysealed is not legal, financial or insurance advice.

You decide whether to make each payment, and you are responsible for that decision. Paysealed is not responsible for payments you make or losses from fraud.

4. Accounts, admins and phones

  • Your admins choose who joins, their roles, and who can approve. You are responsible for what your team does in Paysealed.
  • Keep sign-in details and registered phones secure. Remove a phone straight away if it is lost or someone leaves.
  • Make sure approvers can receive notifications and that backup approvers are set up.
  • Tell us quickly at the address below if you think your account has been misused.

5. Your data

Your company owns the data it puts into Paysealed. You allow us to host, process and send it only as needed to run Paysealed, keep it secure and support you. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

You confirm that you are allowed to put this data into Paysealed and that you will tell your team how it is used. Please don’t enter full bank account numbers, passwords or other sensitive details that Paysealed doesn’t ask for.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use Paysealed for anything illegal, deceptive or harmful, or to pretend to be someone else;
  • try to get into accounts or data that aren’t yours, or get around security or usage limits;
  • test Paysealed’s security without our written permission (please report issues to us instead);
  • copy, resell or reverse engineer Paysealed, or use it to build a competing product;
  • upload malware or overload Paysealed with automated traffic.

7. Other services

Paysealed works with services we don’t control, such as Slack, Google, Microsoft, phone operating systems and push notification services. Their own terms apply to your use of them. If they are down, slow or change how they work, Paysealed features that use them may not work, and notifications can be delayed.

8. Early access and fees

During early access and free pilots, Paysealed is free. We will only charge you after you agree to a paid plan, in writing or by choosing one in the app. We will give at least 30 days’ notice before a free pilot ends. Paid plan prices, billing and renewal terms will be shown when you choose a plan.

9. Our rights and your feedback

We own Paysealed, its software, design and brand. These terms don’t give you any rights to them except to use Paysealed. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.

10. Confidentiality

Each of us will keep the other’s non-public business information confidential and use it only for this agreement, unless it becomes public through no fault of ours, or the law requires it to be shared.

11. Availability

We work to keep Paysealed running and secure, but during early access we don’t promise any specific uptime. We may pause Paysealed for maintenance or to protect it, and we will try to give notice when we can.

12. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Paysealed at any time. We may suspend or close an account if these terms are broken, if it puts Paysealed or others at risk, or if the law requires it. We may also stop offering Paysealed with at least 30 days’ notice. When an account closes, an admin can ask for an export of its data within 30 days. After that we delete it, as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Disclaimer

As far as the law allows, Paysealed is provided “as is” and “as available”, especially during early access. We don’t promise that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will detect or prevent any particular fraud.

14. Limits on liability

As far as the law allows:

  • neither of us is responsible for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost data or lost business;
  • we are not responsible for any payment you make or don’t make, or for losses caused by fraud, even if Paysealed didn’t flag it;
  • our total responsibility for all claims is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, such as for fraud or intentional wrongdoing.

15. Claims from others

If someone makes a claim against us because of data you put into Paysealed or because you broke these terms, you will cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it.

16. Law and disputes

If there is a problem, please contact us first and we will try to fix it together. These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Pakistan will handle any dispute that we can’t resolve together.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and for important changes we will tell company admins at least 30 days before they take effect. If you keep using Paysealed after that, the new terms apply.

18. General

  • These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement about Paysealed, unless we sign a separate written agreement, which then takes priority.
  • We may transfer these terms to a company we set up to run Paysealed, or to a buyer of Paysealed. You may not transfer them without our agreement.
  • If part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a part straight away doesn’t mean we give it up.
  • We can send notices by email to your admins or show them in the app.
